Ma Xiaocheng

Ma Xiaocheng is an assistant researcher at the Qinghai Salt Lake Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, known for his innovative approach to science communication. Recently, he gained recognition for his engaging presentations that blend scientific research with music, exemplified by his participation in the 11th National Science Popularization Explanation Competition, where he won first prize for his talk titled 'The Little Fairy in the Salt Lake.' A passionate musician since childhood, Ma has written songs to inspire interest in geology and science, aiming to make research accessible and enjoyable to the public. After obtaining his PhD in 2023, he has been actively involved in field investigations and educational outreach, emphasizing the importance of sharing scientific knowledge in creative ways.
