Mahinthan Sukuneswaran

Mahinthan Sukuneswaran, the youngest son of Shanthy Sukuneswaran, was born in Sri Lanka in 1984 and later moved to Switzerland with his family. Growing up in a predominantly Swiss environment, he faced challenges related to discrimination and bullying due to his Tamil heritage. Now 41, Mahinthan has become an Anlagenführer and was naturalized as a Swiss citizen in 2006. He expresses a sense of belonging to Switzerland while still acknowledging the complex legacy of his family's past and the ongoing issues of racism that they have faced.
