Maïma Bekouré

Maïma Bekouré is a prominent Gabonese activist and the founder of the Association 'Les ailes de brides', which advocates for the rights of children and seeks justice for victims of sexual abuse. Following the tragic death of Esther Ludivine Moussavou Eyang Mba, a 10-year-old girl who was a victim of sexual violence, Bekouré organized a significant demonstration in Libreville on August 11, 2025, to demand stronger laws against such crimes and raise awareness about the urgent need to protect children from abuse.
