Majid Shahriari

Majid Shahriari was an Iranian nuclear scientist whose life was cut short in a targeted assassination in 2010, when a bomb was attached to his car by a motorbike rider. His death, occurring on the same day as that of another researcher, underscored the dangerous climate surrounding Iran's nuclear program and the perceived threats posed by foreign intelligence agencies, particularly from Israel, which has been accused of carrying out a series of covert operations against Iranian scientists.
