Manoa Labane

Manoa Labane is a 36-year-old worker at one of the largest jeans factories in Maseru, Lesotho. Recently, she experienced a wave of anxiety as news of potential job losses due to high tariffs imposed by the United States reached her while she was at work. With her partner unemployed and her monthly salary of approximately 120 francs supporting her family, the threat of unemployment looms large, leading her to pray for job security in church.
