Mansur Movlaev

Mansur Movlaev is a Chechen activist and opposition figure born on December 12, 1995. He has been involved in documenting human rights abuses and the disappearances of Chechen individuals. After facing imprisonment on fabricated drug charges in Russia, he fled to Kyrgyzstan and later to Kazakhstan, where he has sought asylum. Movlaev has publicly expressed fears of deportation back to Chechnya, where he believes he would face severe persecution, including torture.
