Manuel Gual

Manuel Gual was a Venezuelan revolutionary leader, known primarily for his role in the early independence movement against Spanish colonial rule. Born in the late 18th century, he became an influential figure in advocating for freedom and social justice in Venezuela, inspired by Enlightenment ideas and the revolutionary movements in Europe. Gual's efforts, alongside José María España, laid the groundwork for future uprisings, making him a significant precursor to the eventual independence of Venezuela from Spanish domination.
