Maray Rojas

Maray Rojas is a 49-year-old Cuban woman who faced significant challenges in her pursuit of a better life, following her marriage to Yoan Vicente Pichardo. After they crossed into the United States seeking asylum, Maray was separated from her husband when he was detained by immigration authorities. Unable to reunite with him, she made the difficult decision to return to Mexico, where she had built a life and where she continues to work while waiting to bring her husband back from Cuba.
