Yoan Vicente Pichardo

Yoan Vicente Pichardo is a Cuban carpenter who fled his homeland in search of a better future. After successfully establishing residency in Mexico, he attempted to cross into the United States with his wife Maray to seek asylum. However, he was detained shortly after their arrival and deported back to Cuba amid the early enforcement of Donald Trump's immigration policies, leaving his wife behind and complicating their plans for a shared life.
