Marcia Hintz

Marcia Hintz is the education and events manager for New Zealand Certified Builders (NZCB), where she observes increasing participation of women in apprenticeships. With a focus on addressing the underrepresentation of women in the construction workforce, Hintz highlights ongoing challenges such as the need for proper on-site facilities and protective gear that fits women. Her efforts aim to create a more inclusive environment for female tradespeople, as well as to improve retention and completion rates among women in the industry.
