María de los Ángeles Araujo Bohr is a former magistrate who served as a substitute magistrate for the Constitutional Court of Guatemala from 2011 to 2021. Elected by Congress, Araujo Bohr has emphasized the need to redirect the focus of the court, which she believes has become overly politicized in recent years. She is now a candidate for a position as a magistrate in the upcoming election organized by the Universidad de San Carlos (Usac).
