María de los Santos

María de los Santos is the president of the Asociación de Psicólogos de la Salud and is actively advocating for the rights of health professionals in the Dominican Republic. She has been vocal about the unmet promises made by President Luis Abinader regarding incentives and pensions for psychologists and other health workers, highlighting the disparity in treatment among different sectors within the health system. Her efforts were recently showcased during a protest at the Palacio Nacional, where she called for urgent action to address the needs and rights of health workers.
