Mark Gane

Mark Gane is a Canadian musician, songwriter, and co-founder of the band Martha and the Muffins, celebrated for their contribution to the new-wave music genre in the 1980s. Alongside his bandmate Martha Johnson, Gane has been vocal about the artistic integrity of musicians, particularly in response to the unauthorized use of their song 'Echo Beach' by Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre during political events.
