Martha Lazo

Lazo is among the thousands of teachers waiting for the Honduran government to pay a long-standing debt of approximately 215 million lempiras related to 'crecimiento vegetativo,' which refers to the unrecognized hours of work due to the expansion of the education system. She claims the state owes her around 52,000 lempiras, an amount that significantly impacts her ability to afford necessary medications.
