Martín Cardozo

Martín Cardozo is the president of the Federación Obrera de la Industria de la Carne y Afines (FOICA), an organization that represents workers in the meat industry in Uruguay. He has been actively involved in addressing the challenges faced by workers, especially in light of recent industry disruptions following the death of industry figure Gustavo Basso and issues related to Conexión Ganadera. Cardozo has been working to provide support and advice to affected workers and companies, including facilitating discussions about unemployment insurance for those impacted by the current situation in the meat processing sector.
