Martin Kvetko

Martin Kvetko was a notable Slovak politician and a key figure associated with the Democratic Party of Slovakia. After World War II, he served as a commissioner for agriculture and nutrition and was involved with the illegal group Obrana národa, which aimed to oppose Stalinist autocracy. Kvetko's legacy continued after his return from exile in the United States post-1989, where he became an honorary chairman of the Democratic Party, advocating for democracy in Slovakia.
