Maryna Zabavska

Maryna Zabavska is a Ukrainian mother whose life was turned upside down by the war in Ukraine, particularly after her son, Ivan, went missing while trying to rescue her from an occupied village. Born in Tavilzhanka, she raised Ivan as a single parent and experienced profound loss when her sister was killed during the conflict. Desperate to find her son, Maryna has dedicated herself to searching for him and appealing to authorities for help, all while living in uncertainty and fear due to the ongoing war.
