Matthias Stamm

Matthias Stamm is a seasoned journalist and media executive, who has been with Deutsche Welle since 2008. He has recently been appointed as the new chief editor of the international broadcaster, succeeding Manuela Kasper-Claridge. Known for his deep understanding of the organization's operations, Stamm is set to transition into his new role in October 2023, with a period of overlap for training and handover.
