Max Wolf

Max Wolf was a German astronomer known for his significant contributions to the field of astrophysics, particularly in the discovery of asteroids. He is credited with discovering numerous asteroids, including (540) Rosamunda in 1904, and was a pioneer in the use of photography in astronomy, which greatly enhanced the ability to detect celestial bodies.
