Maxim Danilchuk
Maxim Danilchuk is a 26-year-old Ukrainian military officer who has recently been appointed as the commander of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade 'Mагура'. A native of Barvynivka in the Zhytomyr region, he is a graduate of the National Academy of Land Forces. Since the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russia, Danilchuk has risen through the ranks from company commander to battalion commander, leading his troops in significant defensive operations in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, where they have successfully repelled numerous attacks. He was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine by President Volodymyr Zelensky on February 24, 2024, and has received several military honors for his bravery and leadership.
