Michael E. Pahira Jr.

Michael E. Pahira Jr. was a dedicated Pennsylvania State Police trooper who joined the force in 2007. He served as a Motor Carrier Enforcement Inspector, ensuring the safety of commercial vehicles on the state's highways. Tragically, he lost his life while conducting a vehicle inspection when he was struck by a semi-truck driven by an illegal immigrant. Pahira had recently moved back home to care for his mother during her battle with cancer, showcasing his commitment to family and community.
