Michael Levenston

Michael Levenston is the executive director of City Farmer Society, a Vancouver non-profit organization dedicated to promoting urban agriculture since 1978. His inspiration comes from observing Chinese grandmothers growing productive vegetable gardens in Vancouver's Chinatown, motivating a movement towards utilizing urban spaces for food cultivation, particularly during times of crisis when food security becomes paramount.
