
Michael MacMillan
Michael MacMillan is a prominent Canadian media executive and the founder of Blue Ant Media, established in 2011. With a career spanning several decades, MacMillan co-founded Atlantis Films Ltd. in 1978, which later became known for its involvement in the production of the popular CSI franchise. After selling Alliance Atlantis Communications in 2007 for $2.3 billion, he shifted his focus to Blue Ant, where he has emphasized the acquisition and production of unscripted content for global distribution. Recently, he made headlines with Blue Ant's plan to go public through a reverse takeover of Boat Rocker Media, a move aimed at expanding the company's content library and production capabilities.
