Mihai Apafi al II-lea
Mihai Apafi al II-lea, born in 1676, was a young prince of Transylvania who ascended to the throne at the tender age of 13 after the death of his father, Mihai Apafi I. His reign was short-lived, as he faced opposition from the Ottoman Empire, which appointed Imre Thököly as prince instead. Despite being dethroned, Mihai Apafi al II-lea managed to reclaim his position with the help of the imperial army but was later imprisoned in Vienna and forced to relinquish his title to the Habsburgs. He lived the remainder of his life in Austria, where he died in 1713.
