
Mihai Apafi I
Mihai Apafi I was the Prince of Transylvania from 1661 until his death in 1690, known for his long and stable reign. His leadership helped maintain Transylvania's autonomy during a time of significant political turmoil and external pressures from both the Ottoman Empire and the Habsburgs. He was also the father of Mihai Apafi al II-lea, who succeeded him at a very young age.
