Mihai Șuțu

Mihai Șuțu was a fanariot prince of Wallachia, who reigned during a tumultuous period marked by invasions and civil unrest. His leadership was challenged by external threats, including the notorious bandit Osman Pazvantoglu, and he ultimately fled the country during the catastrophic earthquake of 1802, which devastated the region. His reign is often remembered for the vulnerability of the state and the hardships faced by the populace.
