Mihailo Scelnikov

Mihailo Scelnikov, a 52-year-old resident of Lviv, Ukraine, has been implicated in the assassination of former Ukrainian parliament speaker Andri Parubi. He was reportedly recruited by Russian intelligence services approximately a year prior to the assassination attempt, which involved him gathering intelligence on Ukrainian military positions and ultimately planning a high-profile attack on Parubi. Scelnikov was apprehended in the Khmelnytskyi region while attempting to flee the country after the assassination, facing serious charges including high treason and attempted murder.
