Andri Parubi was a prominent Ukrainian politician, known for his role as the former Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament. Born in 1971, he played a significant part in Ukraine's political landscape, especially during key events such as the Orange Revolution in 2004. Parubi was one of the founding members of the far-right political party Svoboda and had served in various governmental positions. He was previously the target of an assassination attempt in 2014 and continued to be a controversial figure due to his nationalist views. Tragically, he was killed on the streets of Lviv in a shooting incident, which has drawn widespread attention and condemnation.
