Millie Powell is a 32-year-old Irishwoman originally from Dublin, who, along with her American husband Will Mester, opened The Wren, a gastropub in Baltimore, Maryland, in February 2023. With over a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, she has worked as a cheesemonger and front-of-house staff in Dublin before transitioning to pastry chef at The Wren, where her traditional Irish desserts have garnered acclaim, including a spot on the New York Times' list of the 50 best restaurants in the United States for 2025.
