Mio Sato

Mio Sato is the Chief of Mission for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Pakistan. She has been instrumental in launching initiatives aimed at enhancing disaster preparedness and addressing climate resilience in vulnerable communities. During a recent workshop in Islamabad, Sato emphasized the urgent need for sustained support to strengthen Pakistan's disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation capabilities, particularly in light of the escalating climate challenges faced by the country.
