Mira Cerar

Mira Cerar is a Slovenian politician and former Prime Minister, known for his leadership of the Modern Centre Party (SMC). He served as Prime Minister from 2014 to 2018, focusing on economic reforms and social issues. His tenure was marked by efforts to stabilize the Slovenian economy following the Eurozone crisis. Recently, he has been in the news as the SMC party is transitioning into a new political entity as it merges with another party, Konkretno, to join the Democratic Party under the leadership of Anžet Logar.
