Miriam Suyapa Barahona

Miriam Suyapa Barahona is a Honduran judge and a member of the Tribunal de Justicia Electoral (TJE), where she has been involved in overseeing electoral processes in Honduras. Recently, she has been in the news as Deputy Jorge Cálix denounced investigations against her and fellow magistrate Mario Flores Urrutia, which Cálix described as an attack on judicial independence.
