Miti Dumitrescu was a member of the Legionary Movement in Romania, known for leading a group of assassins that targeted political figures during the tumultuous period of the late 1930s and early 1940s. He gained notoriety for orchestrating the assassination of Armand Călinescu, the Prime Minister of Romania, in a violent act of revenge for the execution of Legionary leader Corneliu Zelea Codreanu.
