Mohammad Maqbool Butt

Mohammad Maqbool Butt was the founder of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), a separatist organization advocating for Kashmiri independence. He was sentenced to death for killing a police officer in 1968 and was executed in 1984, becoming a martyr figure for some in the separatist movement.
