Mohammad Marwan

Mohammad Marwan is a Syrian father of three who was imprisoned for six years under the Assad regime for fleeing compulsory military service. After being released from the notorious Sednaya prison in late 2024, Marwan has been working to recover from the physical and psychological trauma of his imprisonment, including treatment for tuberculosis and attending therapy sessions. His experiences reflect the broader struggles faced by many Syrians as the country moves towards rebuilding after the fall of the Assad dynasty.
