Mónica Palacios
Mónica Palacios is an Ecuadorian politician and member of the Movimiento de la Revolución Ciudadana (MRC). She gained attention recently for her criticism of the Pachakutik political party, accusing them of betraying their leftist roots and aligning with the right-wing Alianza Democrática Nacional (ADN) during a vote for leadership positions in the National Assembly. Palacios represents the interests of Ecuadorians living in the United States and Canada, and she has been vocal about the need for indigenous representation and integrity within the Assembly.
