Monika Stocker

Monika Stocker is a Swiss politician and former member of the National Council for the Green Party, who played a pivotal role in Zürich's drug policy reforms during the 1990s. As a member of the city government from 1994 to 2008, she was responsible for the social department and was instrumental in advocating for harm reduction strategies, including the controlled distribution of heroin to combat the city's drug crisis.
