Montezuma II Xocoyotzin

Montezuma II Xocoyotzin was the ninth ruler of the Aztec Empire, reigning from 1502 until 1520. He is known for his expansion of the empire and for his encounters with Spanish conquistadors, particularly Hernan Cortes. Under his leadership, the empire reached its peak, but he faced significant challenges during the Spanish invasion, ultimately leading to his downfall and the collapse of the Aztec civilization.
