Morris Meyerson

Morris Meyerson was an artist and socialist activist, best known as the husband of Golda Meir. Born in the early 20th century, he played a significant role in Golda's life, especially during their early years in the United States, where they met in Denver. Morris was supportive of Golda's ambitions, but he struggled to adapt to the collective lifestyle of a kibbutz when they immigrated to Palestine. His relationship with Golda, marked by love and mutual respect, faced challenges due to their differing aspirations and lifestyles. Morris's untimely death in 1951 left Golda to navigate her political career as a prominent figure in the founding of the State of Israel.
