Moshe Hershkovitz
Moshe Hershkovitz, 22, hails from a non-traditional family background in Jerusalem, where he grew up amidst the complexities of a mixed religious environment. Despite facing opposition from both of his parents regarding his decision to enlist in the IDF, Moshe joined the Paratroopers and later became a combat instructor. He discovered the Michael Levin Center for Lone Soldiers shortly after his enlistment, which provided him with a supportive community and essential resources during his service. Moshe has since returned to the center as an instructor, viewing it as a full-circle moment and a chance to give back to the organization that supported him during his military journey.
