Yehuda Reich
Yehuda Reich, 29, grew up in a Hasidic family in Bnei Brak and faced challenges as he began to question his traditional upbringing. After marrying at 18 and having a child, he struggled with his identity as he transitioned away from the ultra-Orthodox lifestyle. Following a difficult divorce and a period of homelessness, he found support at the Michael Levin Center for Lone Soldiers, where he was encouraged to enlist in the IDF. Yehuda served in the Golani Brigade and became a respected officer, attributing his turnaround to the community and guidance he received from the center, which he describes as having saved his life. Now a musician living in Tel Aviv, he maintains a relationship with his son while navigating the complexities of his past.
