He gained notoriety as a key figure in the 'Altynkole' corruption case, where he and 16 others were accused of involvement in an organized crime group. Recently, Duduyev has publicly proclaimed his innocence, alleging that the criminal case against him was fabricated due to his interference with certain interests. He claimed to have been extorted for a bribe of $100,000 under the threat of harm to his family.
