Musa Darboe

Musa Darboe is a Gambian farmer and the owner of Mano Farm, who transitioned from a successful career as a telecommunications engineer in the United States to agricultural innovation in The Gambia after inheriting his family's farm. Faced with significant challenges in traditional rice farming, he sought help from Chinese agricultural experts, leading to a remarkable transformation of his farm, which expanded from three hectares to 100 hectares, significantly increasing rice yields. Musa is a vocal advocate for modern farming techniques and aims to inspire Gambian youth to embrace agriculture as a promising and dignified career.
