Mustafa Kahtalı, known as 'Kahtalı Mıçe', was a celebrated Turkish folk music artist born in 1951 in Kahta, Adıyaman. Over his 57-year career, he released 19 albums and became known for his heartfelt interpretations of traditional Turkish music. Diagnosed with cancer in early 2023, he battled the illness for a year before passing away in Antalya. His contributions to music and culture were recognized posthumously, with his name being given to a conservatory in Adıyaman.
