Myint Swe

Myint Swe was the acting president of Myanmar, having assumed the role on February 1, 2021, following a military coup that ousted the democratically elected government. Prior to becoming acting president, he served as the Chief Minister of Yangon Region. His presidency was marked by significant political turmoil and unrest in Myanmar, particularly in response to the military's actions against civilians and pro-democracy movements. Tragically, Myint Swe passed away in a military hospital in Naypyidaw, with reports indicating that he had been suffering from neurological disorders that affected his daily functioning.
