Min Aung Hlaing is the current commander-in-chief of the Myanmar Armed Forces and has been in power since the military coup in February 2021. He has been a key figure in the military's crackdown on dissent and has faced widespread condemnation for human rights abuses, particularly against the Rohingya minority. Recently, he was named in an Argentine court's arrest order for alleged involvement in genocide and crimes against humanity against the Rohingya people.
