Najibullah Wazir

Najibullah Wazir is a resident of North Waziristan and a vocal advocate for the rights of the people in the region. He gained prominence following the 2018 merger of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas with Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, which promised to end decades of legal and political exclusion. Wazir represents the disillusionment felt by many locals as the expectations for development and security post-merger remain largely unfulfilled.
