Naomi Faifai

Naomi Faifai is a self-taught mixed-media artist from Timaru, New Zealand, who draws inspiration from her surroundings and her heritage. Growing up in an art-filled home with an artist mother, she has always been connected to creativity. Her latest solo exhibition, 'Inner Workings,' showcases 30 vibrant works that reflect her everyday experiences and cultural background, incorporating elements from her Samoan and Māori ancestry. With a spontaneous approach to her art, Naomi aims to evoke joy and connection through her colorful and symbol-rich creations, which are currently on display at The Frame Workshop and Gallery in Auckland.
