Nataliia Shapoval

Nataliia Shapoval is the head of the KSE Institute, a Kyiv-based economic think tank that focuses on economic policy and reform in Ukraine. She has been instrumental in analyzing the economic impacts of the ongoing war in Ukraine and advocating for international financial support. Recently, she highlighted the critical need for $50 billion in external financing for Ukraine in 2026 to maintain the country’s defense efforts and ensure the stability of its military and economy during the conflict.
