Naya, a 21-year-old hospitality student from Pondok Gede, Bekasi, became a victim of a concert ticket scam while trying to attend a Seventeen concert on February 8-9, 2025. A dedicated fan of the group, known as a 'carat,' she had been saving money to purchase a coveted pink package ticket. In a rush to secure her ticket, she was tricked into transferring IDR 4 million to a scammer posing as a ticket seller, only to later realize that she had been blocked and lost her money, which equated to nearly six months of her internship earnings.
